boris d hegenbart-matsui (Berlin,1969)

boris d hegenbart-matsui produces sound installations, electro-acoustic concerts and performances, compositions for theater, dance and experimental video works. In 1996 he founded the project [#/TAU], in Berlin. hegenbart graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, with focus on composition, improvisation und live electronics (MAX/MSP).
He has been artist in residence at:
Podewil, Berlin; International Summer Academy at the University of Arts, Berlin (UdK); Traute von Mendelssohn Foundation, Berlin ; Villa Aurora, Los Angeles.
